    Angry Sandberg California intermittent fault

I'm a bit new to all this so bear with me .... but I hope someone can help me with a recommendation for someone decent I can send/ take my sandberg california to to fix an intermittent issue that is really bugging me. I 've had it looked at by a local guy who can't find a problem but there defintely is one. Any suggestions in the east mids/ Yorkshire area?

    Thanks

Hard to say without knowing what the problem is. Have you tried contacting Sandberg direct to see if they have any licensed techs?
Light travels faster than sound, some people appear bright until they make a noise.

If you can describe the fault or put forward any pictures if required.

A bit hard to describe the problem but here goes. I would say it is an issue with the active circuitry, so occasionally the sound will drop out and a high pitched whine emits from the speaker on the amp and then a sound similar to the one if you plug in the lead with the volume up on the amp when you play the strings ( that kind of loud clicking sound). Only happens a few times a month

Definitely not a prob with the amp as I can play my Wal through it no problem.

Maybe you could try to record the problem and post a link to the recording.

Ask on the techie bit on Basschat.

Loads of Sandberg fans on there.
