It might be a crap version (no sound at work ;^), Portraits is Jaco playing chords using harmonics and bass line on the bass as it is... dig out a better version it is an awesome tune, it redefined how I thought of the bass...Enjoyed the Victor Wooten hes fantastic. In fact I've not played guitar for about 6 months now, just been playing bass. It's been amazing to over-throw preconceptions - walking bass can start from a totally new point as well as walk from one note to a higher one or one note to a lower one... chords sound good in some registers, harmonics give the bass a massive range (sounding far meatier on bass) but the range isn't complete... sustain... I really do not get that yet... too use to muting and damping on guitars...
