Only had a short time with it but it nails the fuzz tone I had in mind, not quite as scooped as the little big muff it will be replacing, much more rich sounding with less wool on the low strings and less shrill on the high. It likes volume though so can't wait to crank it.

Depending on the pedal, you may have more luck keeping the fuzz pedal volume high and your guitar volume on about 6

Of course, running the Muff through a cranked Hiwatt DR103 might have a little bit to do with it...

i used to have a set-up containing super overdrive and metal zone pedals. my go-to sound was always at 30w amp at full volume with no pedals only channel switching, but having moved into a housing development i ended up playing at much reduced volume and using a super overdrive. i had the metal zone pedal set up so that the sound was similar to that from the super overdirve (obviously the distortion pedal won't sound the same as overdrive, but mt-2 on it's own had a more marshally-sound than from the sd-2). the tone when both pedals were engaged at the same time was lovely, thick and creamy.

i had modified both pedals, but can't remember which mods (the mt-2 removed the wasps-in-a-jam-jar and made it a little more over-drivey and less distortiony, while the sd-2 removed the blanket-over-the-speaker muffling)
