Which drum machine ?

So drummer's announced he may be going to Australia for 5 yrs.

While the endless "find a replacement drummer" task goes on, which beatbox would you get (alternative suggestions like laptops also appreciated) ?

I had a Zoom RT-323 which had some of the most convincing drum sounds I've heard from a machine. Not as easy to program as the Alesis SR16 though....
