Well? What's your opinion on the weekend's breaking news?

It's a sad bit of news and something that we'd all have preferred to not be hearing about, but at the end of the day it is right to be out in the open for the sake of the victims. I'm a bit lost for words really but it would be good to see a proper investigation and be sure it's the truth.

There were a hell of a lot of rumours when he was a live also a lot of doubt that anything would happen as he was well connected. The papers that kept lauding him seemed to have no interest in a story that would do him in.
I had a friend who worked for him as a DJ in the late 70's - early 80s and he had seen too much of JS and a few incidents to doubt it.

Yeah I noticed the beeb were completely ignoring it on the news this morning...

I don't know many of the "facts", I saw some talking head yesterday saying that she went into JS's dressing room and there was some teen sitting on his lap and they were kissing with tongues. And this was back in the 70s.

I don't in any way condone child abuse, hell I have two daughters of my own, but unless there is more to it than that I can sort of see how it could happen- young(ish) chap, in the spotlight of teen culture, probably gets a lot of attention from the fans... Young pubescent girls, drunk on being at the BEEB for TOTP, get a chance for a snog and more with a teen idol and make the most of it... Not saying it's right, just I can see how it could happen.
