Paolo Nutini. It's quite cool not to like him where I come from because he's just up the road in Paisley, but the boy's talented.

For some inexplicable reason i currently have dream theater on in my car. It's only cos the cd was on offer, 3 quid from amazon. Not sure it was worth it tbh.

    Adam Ant's new one.

    Not great.

One Amazon review said it's just a load of demos, which is a fair summary of the sound.

i'm liking this alot. I find it far more interesting guitar wise than hours of the usual tedious & predictable guitar wankage.

Love the chorus with it's 60's tv-theme melody.

Listened to this for the first time in absolute ages today. Man, I wish John and Josh would just do this full time. Screw the the Chilli's!

I felt I needed to update what I'm listening to because... I just got the new My Bloody Valentine album and I'm just gushing like every fanboy on the planet.

Three tracks in and I'm not disappointed yet, sounds exactly like MBV. Definitely not as dreamy and dancey as Loveless, though I wouldn't say it's as aggressive as Isn't Anything either.

Aladdin Sane, by some chap called David Bowie.

Part of a charity shop haul yesterday. Never been a Bowie fan, so thought it a good time to check him out.

Been listening to this too. Not too struck on the first track, but the rest are definitely the business. Some lovely guitar stuff too. Only heard it on the tinny 'kitchen blaster'. Looking forward to getting it nto a bigger system.
Well done MBV, a great follow-up after only 22 years.
