Eva Cassidy (prompted by BBC 4 last night).

To be honest I don't know that much about her....but I am listening to her version of Autumn Leaves.
    Wow....
(Funnily enough someone else has just mentioned the same song - EC's version.)

Amazing Disgrace by The Posies. One of my favourite albums, for sure.

Daring Adventures by Richard Thompson. Jennie, Al Bowlly's in Heaven, fantastic record. Probably - in terms of consistency - his best.

    The Police.

I'll be working my way through all their albums this week (I tend to do that with certain artists every now and again).

The drive this morning involved the whole of "Ghost in the Machine" and I'm now a few tracks into "Reggatta de Blanc" (based on the alphabetical order my iPod got's the albums in).

The new Clutch album "Earth Rocker".

Stunningly, amazingly brilliant- filled with angry genius.
One of the best albums of the last decade.

David Ford's new one "Charge" is the order of the day. Almost-unknown singer/songwriter, bluesy-folky stuff and really rather good.

I have an odd soft spot for Clutch (odd as in they don't relate much to anything else I listen to) so I must check that out at some point.
