Off the back of the BBC4 documentary I've finally looked beyond 'All The Young Dudes','All The Way To Memphis', and 'Roll Away The Stone' and started listening to Mott The Hoople.

Currently obsessed with 'Darkness Darkness', 'Second Love', and 'The Ballad Of Mott The Hoople'. Massive sounding and yet fragile. Brilliant.

    Robben Ford's new album.
He plays the whole thing on the neck pickup of a '63 Epiphone Rivera. I don't know what his thinking was behind that but if he is saying that "less is more" then I completely agree with him!

Been listening to a lot of Led Zep since watching a documentary on them. Listened to all of the first album, about to move on to II. I have I, II, III, IV, Houses of the Holy, and Presence and I've just ordered copies of In Through the Out Door and Physical Graffiti (as they were only $9 each). They'll be accompanied by SRV's "Texas Flood", Gov't Mule's "Life Before Insanity" and "Dose", Kamelot's new album "Silverthorn" and the Heaven's Basement album "Filthy Empire".

So a mixed bag... but it will be good when they all arrive. Some stuff there I've been seeking out for a while. And the whole lot only cost me $60 delivered which is ~40 quid for all you Brits...

Stunningly, amazingly brilliant- filled with angry genius.
One of the best albums of the last decade.

Bought this yesterday...not had chance to listen to it yet, chomping at the bit to get in on the go.

Borrowed Scott Walker's latest, "Bish Bosch" from my dad.

Fuck me, it's the weirdest thing I've ever heard.
My name is Connor and I have a GAS problem.

I also have some videos of myself playing guitar. Here they are.
