Default Shopping Bag with pictures of Guitars

I was showing a guest around Leicester Square, Chinatown, and Piccadilly Circus last Saturday when I came across this shopping bag in a souvenir shop at the Trocadero Centre:-

Interesting. Kids got me a tea mug for the office for a recent birthday with exactly the same guitar images on it, even down to colour and slightly tilted angel

I've two (different shaped) mugs with that design on. There's a little gift shop near me that has loads of stuff with it on. If I drank enough tea I'd get the teapot.

I also have one of those. (The mug, not the kids)

I was thinking the same thing.

Someone has come up with a bright design idea for items which won't go out of fashion and which are obviously selling quite well.

I've seen T-shirts with pictures of guitars, but not with that design. Gibson will be on to them soon!!!!!

A few years ago, I collected miniature cars, made by Bburago and Maisto, which was an affordable hobby, until the motor companies wanted their slice of the lucrative profits.

Now, for example, the Ferrari scale models are manufactured by Mattel Hotwheels, as the sole concessionaires under license from Ferrari. So if you wanted a model of a Ferrari, you have no option but to buy one made by Mattel Hotwheels.

But, it isn't Ferrari alone which extorts a license fee. All the major motor manufacturers now charge the scale model manufacturers a license fee to make replica models of their cars.

Sad that what was once seen as toy collectors' cars has now become big business. The Formula 1 models are even more expensive. I can no longer afford the cost of the cars and stopped collecting.....but I still drool over them when I go to Toy Fairs and Hamley's.

I also have some videos of myself playing guitar. Here they are.
