Default FS Uk: Briggs Saturn. USA boutique build, mint

    NOW SOLD

USA built hand made guitar from Jack Briggs in Carolina, never heard of him?, I suggest you check him out. 18 month waiting list for his guitars. Think PRS, Anderson, Suhr and then add on the the fact these are hand built by Jack himself and are as rare as rocking horse shite.
Mine is a Saturn Standard, completed 13.1.2004, one piece Honduras Mahogany body and neck (with the usual wings), Brazilian Cocobola finger board with paua shell inlays. Thin skin Nitro finish, Seymour Duncan Custom Custom at the bridge and an Alnico 2 at the neck. Grover tuners, stunning red TKL case. the tones on this guitar are stunning as a result of the wood used and the construction.5 way blade switch and some sort of magical electronics give 10 great useable tones on this tone-machine.Please ask if you need any more info. Your welcome to come try it out, you wont find many, if any, of these for sale in the Uk.

Would have retailed at £2300 originally, mines yours for £1075, very reluctant sale on this one, but somethings gotta go!
Cash on collection only form Runcorn or South Bedfordshire by arrangement

    Morning Prudd,

The top carve on this guitar is sensational. May I enquire which of the 4 available neck profiles it has?

    Best.

    Paul.

You may indeed, the hand written spec sheet states its got the standard carve with medium jumbo .100x.050 frets with a graphtech nut.

looks like your not far away, your welcome to come give it a try, no obligation to buy of course

The body looks quite petite.....can you give me an idea of size relative to an LP?

Also, have you any idea what weight it is?

    You mentioned South Beds.....whereabouts?

    Cheers

Petite it aint, It weighs in at 9lbs 4oz, nicely balanced on your knee or a strap, and here it is next to my Goldtop LP

here is a shot of both from the side,

the Briggs is very close in depth to an LP at the centre of the body, though obviousley has contours at the edges which make it feel slimmer than an LP.

When down south, friday to sunday usually, Im based in Dunstable, the guitar is with me in Cheshire so I would need some notice to take it with me.

    cheers

Hey, thanks for that, really helpful to see it next to a LP. Don't know why but in your original photos the body looked small but when you see it next to a LP it's about the same size.

    PM on the way....
