And... that price is £1200 too high.
No-one is going to pay that close to the new price for a used Andy.

A used Andy sells for £1500 tops for a private sale.
Doesn't matter how much it cost new or even condition really.
The depreciation on Anderson is crazy- one of the worst brands to buy new.
    Nice top though.

The feller has it in US dollars, which would be about £1700.

Either way he's barking up the wrong geographical tree, given that 99.8% of us are in good old Blighty... Oh and the guitar is blurry. I wouldn't pay the best part of 2k for a blurry guitar, but that's just me
Somewhere, somehow, somebody must've kicked you around some

LOL- I didn't even see the currency.
US based means it will attract 25% in VAT/duty etc. plus shipping.

I love Anderson's. The build quality and attention to detail is just incredible; however I agree that the depreciation on them is 'MASSIVE', which is great for those of us in the second-hand market. I picked up a mint Hollow Drop Top Classic for £1,400 recently (original price: £3,400), and in the last couple of weeks a similar spec'd guitar sold on eBay for just short of £1,500.

Curiously though, the main Anderson dealer in the UK seems to have no problem selling them at £3,000+

    Yeah a fantastic bargain used.
I've had 4 Anderson's now and never paid more than £1500 for each of them.

    Do you mean World Guitars?
I wouldn't say they have no trouble selling them- from the looks of it most of them hang around for ages.
