Exclamation FS: 1990 Jackson DK2 Dinky Eerie Dess Swirl with Guitar Bag - USA Bolt On

PLEASE NOTE: THIS GUITAR IS AN EVEN RARER DK1 - I CANNOT CHANGE THE FORUM HEADLINE, SORRY ABOUT THAT!

The guitar was purchased in Tokyo, Japan - It was hardly used, however it is a 22 year old guitar so has seen a lot of action. The evidence of this guitar's age is in two areas:

1: The serial code is: 000836

This website confirms it was made in 1990 in the Jackson Ontario, California Shop: http://www.jacksonguitars.com/suppor...al-numbers.php

2: It is a USA Bolt On

This means this guitar was part of the first line of USA Bolt On's made by Jackson in the 1990s!

The condition both electronically and cosmetically is excellent. This guitar was restored by me so it looks and functions as it originally did back 22 years ago. Their is still some hairline body scrapes (roughly 2 extremely small ones) and two indentations around the two single coil pick-ups and a slight chip in the very tip of the headstock - However cosmetically its very unnoticeable and doesn't impact the playability of the guitar itself.

Trem is a vintage Jackson Schaller trem made in Germany, its in very good condition considering the age. Neck is sharkfin design with mother of pearl inlays.

I have uploaded a video of me playing the guitar so you can get an idea of how this guitar sounds and evidence that it works perfectly!

The guitar comes with a guitar bag, original EMG pick-ups (Already installed), it's original allen key (For trem maintenance, not tuning) and of course, original trem arm!

I am looking for £700 however can go as low as £600, not any lower sorry and no trades. The guitar is located in Glasgow, Scotland, I can send out the guitar for a mere additional £7.99 (Tracked ParecelForce 48 Courier) or is available for free local pick-up!

Contact me via PM if you are interested! (I can also take more photos if your interested!)

DK1, not DK2. DK2 is a lower spec Japanese Dinky, DK1 is the US model.

    Also, Ontario California, not Canada.
Nice guitar. The finish is Erie Dess Swirl. Shame about the headstock chip but I've see a lot worse for the age.

I just showed it to my friend on Austrailia and he confirmed the same. God damn Jackson gave me the wrong information when I emailed them. How embarrassing!

Anyway I'll amend the info now. Guitar is still available and rather sell it for £600. Chip on the headstock isn't as bad as it looks in the sense that there isn't a crack or its that deep thankfully. Anyway the chip didn't affect the front part of the headstock as you can see in the pictures

    Cheers man!

Hey, no worries. It's easy to miss these things. I just happen to know Jacksons like the back of my hand.
I am potentially interested (have to see how other things work out) but for anybody else watching, these guitars are quite simply amazing. The necks are super fast (thinner than a soloist) and play like butter.
Needles to say... you took drugs.

    Argh! Another mistake!

The trem is a more higher quality vintage Jackson Schaller trem made in Germany!
