I've never hung one. Always cooked it the same day. Never tried a peasant.

TBH if they'd stuck at shooting pheasants I'd have been OK with ut but then the bloody Tories started hanging them. Soon they'll be whipping them first. It's just wrong.

If they actually taste of anything, that is. I'm under the impression they're not well fed or well nourished and there may not be much fat on them - unless they've been fed on a junk food diet in which case they can't be that healthy to eat.
