You can get thin nozzles for use with the LV CA glues that allow good control over where it goes.
I think you'll find it's a bit more complicated than that.

and yet i have become quite an expert at removing superglue dribbles on guitars simply because people cant use the stuff properly/carefully

a little precaution is much cheaper

The thin CA is very, very thin indeed so Wez's suggestion of using a cocktail stick. Tipping the bottle usually results in a good sploosh everywhere.

With this kind of crack though, you have just a few seconds to get the glue in before it sets. Better a bit of glue on the surrounding finish than an incomplete fill IMHO but using the wax technique and a fine tip minimises that.

a pool of superglue, or a drip on the end of a toothpick, will not dry in seconds - takes quite a while actually

The low viscosity, wicking grade stuff sets very quickly - in just a few seconds.
    E.g. http://www.themodeltreeshop.co.uk/ac...-Glue-820.html

This type of repair needs the glue to penetrate very quickly, faster than a drop on the end of a cocktail stick will manage.
