I like them too ... till people start doing the pitchfork and torches, hunt and stake the relic makers ... personal choice ... simple as that.

Well, I'm another relic fan who doesn't like it, but hey, if someone wants to buy it good luck to them.

No, I'd probably point out some special people like coming here provoke someone else into making them feel angy - relics is just an easy and on-topic subject.

A shit guitar called a relic by a chancer on eBay is only the same thing as an MJT or Custom in the eyes of a moron... I'm moving on

The main problem with these is that you can't relic poly finishes to make it look like worn nitro. As soon as you dig into the finish you reveal how thick the "dipped in plastic" finish is.

    +1

Trouble with Relics (and I like good ones) is that to make them look like real, heavily used old Fender guitars, you need to start with a guitar with an expensive, thin (preferably brittle) nitro finish in the first place. Do that and if you like relics you'll probably get a good result. Take a cheap poly coated guitar and you'll get what you deserve ....

This guitar would suit a shredder. An industrial wood shredder.

    Sorry, but this is crap!

I accept (as Frankus will, no doubt, remind us all) that the "relic" option is nothing more than a choice of finish; and I am also prepared to accept that there are true artists out there who can produce "relics" that are more than passable. But this is nothing more than pure vandalism. Gleaming chrome hardware, and a body that has been set upon by no one other than a kak-handed thug.

    Let the war begin...

I suppose you could just decide not to buy it.

True. But, then, there would be no debate about how shit it is.
