Amsterdam Hotel recommendation
Good folk of the forum, I seek your assistance
I'm off to Amsterdam for a few days next March and have been looking at hotels. Its a bit of a minefield.
Tis for self and Mrs T. Were off for a couple days sightseeing after being at a convention in Port Zeeland so were after something nice. I and not looking for a basic budget shed.
Parking would be great as we will be in the car, somewhere central or on a good tram/Bus route.
So anyone have any recommendations?

The Amsterdam Hilton is fab.
It's where I got engaged. It's also where John Lennon had his honeymoon.
If you're going to Port Zealand take your trunks. The pool is great (think Centreparcs) and there are a couple of good restaurants on the edge of the marina too iirc.
Can't help on the Amstredam end of things though.

Yep, at centerparks for a Marillion convention 8th - 11th. Have wedding anniversary on the 15th so thought we would hang around for a few days and do Amsterdam and Bruges on the way back.

Definitely worth a look.
I've stayed in a lot of Hiltons and most of them are shit, but the Amsterdam one is great.
It's also easy to get into town and you are in the more cultural part of the city not the pissed people and whores side.
