Default Drummer and Guitarist wanted to form Stoner/Noise/post rock. (London/Surrey)

    Hi guys.

I would like to form a Stoner/Noise/Doom/Post rock band with like minded musicians.

Main influences include Young Widows, Red Fang, Shellac, Russian Circles, Om.

I have decent gear and would like to jam out some ideas with a drummer and guitarist. The only requirement being that you are not over "Flashy" and are aware of the need for sonic space and that every instrument is as important as the other. (Ultra loud shred guitarists take note!)

To get an idea of what I am looking for please view this!

Large beards are a plus as I don't have one.

Practice is likely in Sutton/Essex or Central London.

Let me know if your interested!

I wouldn't mind trying, mate. Where would you guys meet? Own studio or rented?

I play guitar and (rarely) drums. Not much of a shredder, mainly looking for catchy
rhythm hooks and arrangements. This is what I used to play the last time I was in
a band: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Okea9Z-obBc. Your stuff is not bang
on inside my comfort zone, but I very much like the genre.

I could do a couple of late evening rehearsals a week. Some weekends too. London
    only, though.

Some of my older sketches are available on Soundcloud. None of them resemble your
stuff, but could give a hint of my influences and MO.
