New models- the Acoustic, the Extreme, and the Classic Blues.

Might have to go try out a Classic Blues one...

Hopefully the price will drop considerably on the old THR10..I fancy getting one of those amps so if it comes down lots in price then great!

As I read it they are still part of the line up - so not likely to be a price drop?

Um... shirley there's flash memory in the original THR computers, so Mr Yamaha could have done these variants as a software upgrade?

What possible reason could there be for making them a whole new hardware purchase...? I've thought about it for several minutes and I'm completely stumped!

Yamaha did similar with the MagicStomp v2 - they later released the firmware so you could turn the models in to each other

At over £200 I still find these amp to be too pricey for what they are. If they could lower the price, I would consider buying one.

Erm, profit? I agree though, seems a tiny bit cynical. I'd be surprised if technically the the amp models on the originals couldn't be updated via a patch.

That THR10C would probably make the perfect bedroom amp for me. Time to sell some shizzle...
    Red ones are better.
