The original THR10 sounds like its a more versatile one to me..does clean, crunch and high gain. The new ones seem to be more zoned into a particular sound/genre. That said it may be different if I was trying one out in person. So far its the original one i'm thinking of getting.

Depends what you need I guess. For me the high gain stuff would be fun but realistically on,y used about once a year. The 10C on the other hand would be used every day. I would like to know how deep the software patch editor is before buying though.

I've got the original thr10. It is fantastic and has switched my in front of the tv noodling into using an amp.
It's getting a lot of use!

The editing software is great - very easy to use and adds a lot more control to the effects - eg. reverb now has Time, predelay, lo cut, high cut, lo ratio, high ratio and level. It also adds control for the compressor and gate. You can also choose which cab to use with each amp and then save the whole patch to a library on the pc or to the use patches on the amp.

My best GAS of this year... (i think - there has been a lot )
Awesome - rock mashups and covers
Nitro - 80's hair metal covers
