Default help with electronics / logic :p

crazy question but I've been thinking if this is possible...

I have a budda wah with a 3pdt switch and was wondering if would work to have one of those pushbuttons in the top of it so it becomes "switchless" without any big modification.

the 3pdt inside looks like this:

    1 | 2 | 3
    4 | 5 | 6
    7 | 8 | 9

    where:
    - 1, 4 and 7 are free
    - 2 and 3 are jumped
    - 5 is input
    - 6 is output
    - 8 is to fx
    - 9 is back from fx

the pushbutton is a single switch so as far as I know I'd need a 2pdt so I can route the off status back to the 3pdt switch but maybe a brilliant mind here can suggest a different approach using the single pushbutton + available poles on the 3pdt

    thanks!

Hey, sorry I'm not sure what you mean by switchless? Do you mean to take the toe-down-to-activate switch away and make it external?

It's not possible without some extra electronics other than the switch, but it could be done. You'd want to do it with a relay to retain your true bypass, probably - which would limit you to running the pedal on a power supply really, they draw quite a lot of current.
