Default Cost of Microsoft Office Professional 2010 & A4 vs US Letter size

Ive just been looking on eBay for the "Buy it now" cost of Microsoft Office Professional 2010.

The prices vary wildly from £48 to £400 for 2 licences, including the DVD-ROM.

I want to take my UK version to the USA for installation on a PC there.

Something that I haven't checked is switching between A4 and US Letter stationery. I expect that I can go into the menu for Country Setting and select US English for Word, Excel, etc.

I'm not sure if new US desktop printers handle both A4 and US Letter stationery. I expect that the software will drive the printer to switch between the two media sizes.

Strange that I've spent a long time in NYC and don't know this!!!!

Jeez!!! I wish we had one World Standard. I guess that the USA want to retain their Imperial Measurements and won't change.

Buy it in the US - it's much cheaper. The paper settings are just part of the document setup - there's only one version of Word, Excel etc. The version sold in the US is the same as the UK.
