Default I wonder who borrowed from whom

Browsed the net for subminiature amp designs and found this:
    http://www.jjs.at/electronic/class_a_subminiature.html
Kinda reminds of the ZVEX Nano:

Even got the speaker at the bottom.
Funny thing. Decided to share. n'Joy!

It's extremely like a ZVex Nano copy, and not just because of the speaker. The circuit looks similar, the use of a Fender Reverb transformer, the power supply and several other things...

I'm pretty sure it doesn't pre-date the Nano since that's been out for years. I had one about seven years ago.

The Nano certainly predates that webpage.

Well, then he definitely forgot to mention ZVex as he inspiration. =)
Though he has that AB amp that doesn't look like anything I've seen before.

Read through the description at the bottom of the page - he has developed this himself (it probably owes more to Marshall than Zvex). The circuit is nothing like the nano if the schematics circulating are to be believed (e.g. here)

The switching power supply based on the 555 timer is widely used (I think it came out of a circuit cook-book somewhere), but I don't believe this is the circuit used in the Nano.

Fender reverb transformers are also widely used for baby SE amps, etc. etc.

I don't see any smoking gun.

Back to the original topic - Are you familiar with the work of Rick Holt a.k.a. Frequency Central ?
