    Oh interesting.

Like the Boss FB-2 but with a rocker pedal for more control. I like the look of that.

    That's pretty cool!

I'd still rather have a Sustainer pickup within the guitar itself but that's a good idea. Can't believe it's taken someone this long to apply the infinite-feedback idea to a rocker-style pedal.
My name is Connor and I have a GAS problem.

I also have some videos of myself playing guitar. Here they are.

Indeed; that is, in fact, exactly how I use my wah pedal when I'm playing live. Well, that's not slightly true...I can do something with the wah pedal which none of these pedals can do: change the pitch of the feedback. I suspect that's something they'll be unlikely to manage with these pedals in a user-friendly way, so I probably won't be getting one.

I know these things let you have feedback at ear-friendly levels, but...I'm sorry, feedback is supposed to be ear-splittingly loud. Anything else simply won't do as far as I'm concerned

Very interested in one of these, think of all the synthy and ambient things you could do with it...

Well that's pretty much what the guy with the Gretsch is doing at 1:50. Just leave it on and if you want to change the pitch, bend the note, use the trem, fret a different note. Pretty much how you would go about changing the pitch with actual feedback, at least in my experience.

slightly confused by why its in a rocker pedal as it seems to be largely on or off. I'd also echo one of the youtube comments - what does it do with chords and cleaner tones?

No, I mean going from an octave to a fifth etc - the way you'd normally do it is by changing the position of the guitar relative to the speaker.

Well as this tracks the note you could just hit the octave or the fifth? It would have been nice if they'd used the same enclosure as their fuzz wah though. They could have used the side to side sweep of it for controlling the pitch... but i suppose that would have been too logical for Fender.

I realise that - my point is that you can't smoothly go from feedback at the octave to feedback at the fifth. If you have to fret another note to make it happen, that's missing the point because it's not the same effect, and doesn't sound natural. As I said, you can do that with a wah filtering out various frequencies, but you can't do it with these.

    I was thinking the same.
