bertie - at the risk of exposing you before your peers - here is your long lost web-page

    http://www.bertie.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/guitar.htm

I've decided to learn ain't misbehaving like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X0HTU-SfdV8

and then move onto some blues a la hesitation blues - I might try singing but it'll be feckin painful and only to be done alone.

I'm still wondering whether I should spend the time to learn how to use a thumb pick - I think I'll post a seperate thread

thanks............ - TBH quite a few have seen/heard it before from way back when we were something else (cant even remember the name of the old forum !! )

Thumb picks tend to be a bit marmite with most people.............. I like them for the more rag/alternate bass type work, once you learn to control the 'force' of it (a short blade helps I find) then it puts your hand in a better position for that type of playing.
For more 'articulate' picking I prefer my nail
