Drummer needed for Blues Rock trio based in Cambridge!
Very experienced guitarist and singer/bass player are looking for a drummer to join Blues Rock trio based in Cambridge. Both of us have been playing music for many years and have been in successful bands in other genres. We both have extensive touring and recording experience and have formed this band as we just want to play the music that we love after growing tired with the scenes we used to be involved in. We already have covers down and are writing original material but need a drummer to complete our line up. Music is in the vein of Joe Bonamassa, Kenny Wayne Shepard, Hendrix, SRV, John Mayer Trio, Cream etc a mixture of modern and classic Blues Rock.
Drummer requirements:
- Previous band experience
- Enthusiastic
- Age is not important but are in our late twenties and early thirties
- Must have decent gear of their own
- Own transport
- Commitment to practice regularly and be ready to start playing shows.
- Passion for playing the Blues
- Based in Cambridgeshire area (We practice in central Cambridge)

Have a run down to the Earl of Baconsfield Pub (Mill Road Cambs) on a sunday evening. They have a weekly Electric blues Jam and you stand a good chance of meeting a like minded drumist. They have a F/B page too and I believe there is also a mid week acoustic blues Jam in town but can't remember where or when.
