That's what I thought tbh.....but then it became a challenge and then a Bet, lol, which I WON....lol. I Just opend the case and OMG....you should see this thing. Tone World have obviously made a massive mistake with my order!....I thought I was buying a Pre Owned, but someone there has sent me a BRAND NEW one instead....they must have done, it's the only explanation. It is in MINT...no..PRESTINE condition, you'd think it had just come from the GIBSON factuary. I've scrutinised every inch and I can't find any mark, or signs of use,not even on the scratch plate! I was at least expecting some Plectrum hairline scratches on that, but, Nothing. The Pre amp still has the protective cellophane film on even. All the Gibson parifinalia is the case also. Even the Case looks New! I don't think the last owner has ever even taken it out of the case let alone played it .The tone is just beautiful, Low end warm and velvety while the Top end is bright and crisp with great harmonics, Mid range is just beautiful, no mushyness that I have often found, it rings like Big Ben LOL This is a LOUD guitar! gonna have to find something that will deaden it a bit for practising. but picking or strumming, it is just beautiful! ps. Looks like the guys at Tone World have put a Brand new set of strings on it as well ! That's service for you! I've rambled on a bit here, sorry folks.
I doubt, therefore I might be!
