Bugger, I liked the look of it otherwise! I couldn't tell from the pics - it almost looked like the neck was slimmer in one of the headstock pics.

I find it a little hard to play but have ordered low tension strings as they are supposedly easier to play with...
Speaking from my experience with the same problem, I doubt it will help. Maybe worth a final try before you sell it though.

Like ESchap, I just find the low-tension strings sound weak and dead - I prefer hard tension or even extra hard, they sound better and in some ways actually feel *easier* to play. But then I like quite heavy strings on electric anyway, so that's maybe why.

It was just the neck size that was the problem - years ago I had an Ovation electro-nylon-string that I actually liked, one of (if not the) only Ovations I've ever really liked the playability and sound of... and it had a slim neck. It still had the capsizing-boat body problem though.

I stuck the low tension strings on it and they sound OK to me - they are perhaps a little easier to play. I'm not so much worried about the tone on this guitar myself. I'm used to 10s on my Gibson SG with lowish action - 2mm on the bass and 1.5mm on the treble at the 12th fret. I'm guessing classical guitars have higher action as a rule. I think this one has perhaps 4mm on the bass and 3mm on the treble. It's difficult to barre the strings past the 7th fret.
