Guthrie's 'Waves' in GT this month

The whole of this month's issue looks interesting. It makes a change from one useable article per month.

Will have a look when I'm next in WH Smiths, out of interest what else is in the issue? Any classical tunes?

Played it for the last time in my two-month cycle of GT mags - will get the new mag this Friday. Last three attempts were at full speed, but had to fudge the fastest bits really badly and wouldn't properly convince a listener at 3/4 speed. As always, found it nearly all achievable if I stuck to legato and only had the left hand to worry about.

Big thanks to GT for scheduling it, made my winter, best one since 'Get you back' by Shawn Lane about 5 years ago. Now how about the full length solo from Allan Holdsworth's 'Low levels, high stakes'?

I'm totally getting this issue if it has anything Guthrie in it. Evevn if I succeed at half the licks at half speed, I'll be a better guitarist.
