So, due to car issues, I'm having to raise quite a bit of money ASAP. So I'm putting my old Yamaha RBX170 up for sale. This thing taught me everything I know (mostly) about this fine art, and admittedly while it does show the scars, it's also a very playable, remarkably good-sounding instrument.
No, it's not perfect, but I've given it everything it needs - it's got a new CTS volume pot and a new jack arrangement, and I'll put a new set of strings on it and give it a good set up before it goes.
I've got a couple of boxes around so I'm happy to post it (you pay, I'm afraid) alternatively you can pick it up either from Aberystwyth in Wales, or from Reigate, Surrey this weekend. If you live anywhere along the M4 corridor I don't mind dropping it off en-route on either Friday or Sunday night on my way home/back to uni.
