Things you wish they'd invent........(or at least, make)
a remote control 'jamming amp' - I enjoy noodling in my armchair in the lounge.....nothing too loud, and all sorts of ecletic guff......so something like a modelling amp, or Yam THR10 is ideal..........however I dont want it right beside me, I want it 10 feet away - so I can get better 'feel' from the speakers...............but I dont want to keep getting up to change settings/channels......etc etc so I want an amp with a remote control
so someone get on and make it..........

Same type of thing is do-able with some modellers via i-Thingies integration with DAWs, I know Presonus Studio One has a lot of i-Phone/Pad/Touch integration and runs NI Guitar Rig. So I doubt it would be too much of a problem to have some kind of wi-fi connection to the controls of a modelling amp via any kind of tablet or smartphone. Someone should definitely make one, preferably with an included dedicated remote.
*caveat* I wouldn't buy one, I sit 3 feet away from my small home amp and have my PC and pedalboard to hand (and foot). Still a great idea though

I suppose you could do it with a head and cab with a lengthy speaker cable.
That would work too, although I'm not a fan of these High Tech, pie in the sky solutions.
