Diva`s and lost in showbiz.
Talking to another band recently and they had also the dubious pleasure of supporting the Wurzells. That world famous bunch of superstars. For a band that had a couple of novelty hits in the 70`s about tractors and drinking cider, they don`t half play the "we`re rock stars and need to be treated like them " card.
refusing to share stages or PA, and even refusing a 16 year old girl singer/guitarist, to even be on same stage as them at a charity event.
I have been unfortunate to have played support for them twice, in two totally different bands, so its not as if its my band in particular that they don`t like but any band or artist.
How about you guys, play with anyone with an attitude like that ?

Can't say I've seen that attitude in recent years. As the former owner, haulier, roadie, sound engineer for a decent sized PA and lighting system I must say there is an attitude that anyone and his brother can use it because it's there for my band.
It's there at a cost in money and effort and people should appreciate that, sadly these days too many (mainly young) would be superstars think they have a god given right to exploit that on their way to the dizzy heights of top star in the village.
This is a local PA for local people.
