Question Lesser spotted Blues Chord Progressions

One of the best things about the blues is that it's highly flexible and a lot can be spun from the old rope we're used to vamping around.

I just wrote a blog post on a ten bar with chord substitutions I recorded and I thought it would be interesting to fish around the net for other ideas.

Has anyone else got some nice variations of an old fashioned twelve bar to share around?

Way Down In The Hole is a 15 bar or something if memory serves.

    And then there's this gem:

    Red ones are better.

That is ace. I never saw that one before. I saw a doc on Bill Withers recently and he's a total savant so he wasn't held up by tradition and habit like the rest of us musos.

I'll go look for that 15 bar one now!

Just remembered another: we used to do BB's 'Help The Poor' - 16 bar blues. Keeps everyone on their toes when improvising instrumental verses
    Red ones are better.
