    Default Bugera 333 amp

I've read quite a few internet reviews of these amps and their reliability. Do any of you guys have any experience with Bugera amps?

There are a couple on Gumtree for sale quite cheap and i was thinking it may me be okay for a second amp.

    Any thoughts?

i've got one,Its insanely good for the money, its been totally reliable over the last 6 month and done about 40 gigs,i'd be happy to put it up agains amps costing 5 times as much.
I'm going to get one of the new trirecs when they eventually get released and i'll prob keep the 333 as a fallback if i can afford to do so.
I Love this guitar,I'll never sell it.

    I had the 1995 for a while.

    Plus points -

Seemed well made externally (all joints neat etc)
Did indeed sound just like I remembered a JCM 900 to (only from memory but very pleased)

    Down sides -

It did break after about 8-10 weeks, just plumb stopped working. Replaced fine under warranty but still (was dead as a door nail)
Absolutely the worse residuals I've had on any piece of guitar gear.
Quality of the pots didn't feel quite as good, couldn't put my hand on it - but felt cheaper

So I'd say, they sound very good, great for the money. Some people are worried about the reliability (long term especially) and that when combined with the anti Bugera/Behringer stance means that second hand values are poor.

So if you're seeing a used one, it could be you can take advantage of that! (As long as any reliability concerns are priced in)
