    Default Any free (or cheap) solution for importing sampler formats?

    I'd like to know if there's any free or cheap way of importing other sampler formats (like Giga, Akai, and Refills) into CM Studio.

    There's an Akai to SFZ converter on the rgcaudio site, I think. Giga and Refills you're out of luck on, really. I've not been impressed by the output from sample converters like Extreme Sample Converter into SFZ format (the most advance of the formats supported by plugins on the CM DVD). That may be due to poor SFZ support - convertions to other formats (.404 or SF2) might be better, I've not checked.
