For sale is my Big knob fuzz barn which is basically a hand made UK clone of a Fuzz Factory.
It's a great pedal in top nick but a bit 'wild' for me.
£40 delivered.
Here's the official blurb:
From authentic Hendrix Fuzz Face tones to over-the-top feedback squeals and insane self-oscillation, a nearly infinite variety of fuzz effects are yours by tweaking Fuzz Barn's five inter-related knobs. Two NOS Russian military germanium transistors provide the authentic vintage fuzz tones.
Fuzz Barn features:
Infinite variety of classic and modern fuzz tones
Two matched NOS Russian germanium transistors
Controls for Volume, Gate, Comp, Drive and Stab
Fully hand-wired analog circuitry
Compact MXR-sized enclosure
True bypass 3PDT switching
Bright indicator LED
Accepts standard 9V pedal adaptor
9V DC battery clip included.
As I understand it, it's a Fuzz factory clone. I don't know enough about electronics to say its an *exact* clone though. It does what a Fuzz factory does though. And it gets pretty crazy when you start messing with the knobs, which incidentally are not as big as the name may suggest.
I've just read that Robert Plant uses one. What more recommendation do you need!
