Default Chrome Scratchplate comes to pass

So being unable to locate any supplier for a chrome HSS Strat scratch plate I scrounged a piece of brass plate and set about making my own. Some cake got some of the work done by a guy at work with his magic bandsaw. Then I had to file it and polish it. A local company chromed it for me and here it is.

I copied the image location, I hope that is correct.
I will do some more pics when the knobs arrive.

I did have a bit of drama as the Humbucker didn't sound right so I put an SD Full shred in instead of the Kent Armstrong Super distortion which seems to have an open circuit coil.

Depressingly small photos. And none of the cake! This thread has underdelivered.

Still learning this flikr thing, I will try and make the next pics bigger.
The cake is a lie. Actually no but to get the cake you had to be at the southern area gearfest.
The other problem I have is with the screws which hold the scratchplate down as the originals are countersunk. The new scratchplate is too thin for this. I have some nice black japan screws from Homebase but if anyone has any other suggestions I'm all ears.

Hope I've got the size thing right for the pics. Damn tricky photographing this chrome stuff.
