Default Humbuckers - handwound Wizard Pickups Progression and Racer £75 for the pair!

Just clearing out the old pickup stash again (to make way for gold-covered versions of these, actually, among others) and this awesome little set is on the block.

These are handwound and scatterwound pickups made in Wales to the quality of Bareknuckle or similar - and they sound bloody great. The Progression, in the bridge, is wound to around 12k but sounds a bit hotter, and lies somewhere between a very overwound PAF and a BK Rebel Yell in terms of tone, big and fat but biting and very, very clear - it's a lovely responsive tone. The Racer in the neck is a 9k neck pickup but sounds really sweet, it's fat but bright and nails all the classic neck tones you could hope for - Motorcycle Emptiness in a box, basically!

Like I said, these are handwound and top notch pickups, and are standard Gibson spaced, with short legs and 2 conductor wiring. They have zebra bobbins too.

I'd take £85 delivered for the pair, considering they're £70 each that is a massive, massive bargain.

    No trades thanks!

To the top, can't believe no one's gone for these pickups - pure handwound quality at cheaper than ONE Duncan!
