    Default Weird urge to buy...

    I have two beautiful classic guitars that are almost certainly keepers for life. However, I have a weird urge to buy gimmicky guitars that I know I'll get rid of in a few months. I occasionally GAS on a cheapo Variax 300 just to see what all the fuss is about and I currently have a strange urge to buy one of the L series Steinberger "cricket bat" guitars. Why?

    Curiosity kills the wallet, get a job in a guitar shop then you can experiment all you like without spending too much!
