    It does sound like it's the Power Bank if it wouldn't run the DD-20 either - if it's not giving enough voltage that sounds like it might be doing the same as a bad battery.

    I use a couple of Power Banks which I've had since it was about the only power supply you could buy, but I've beefed up a lot of the internal parts, and it still made my Boss PS-2 whine.

    Sounds like you (and me!) just need a better power supply, to be honest!

    Agreed - bought a diago power station off a chum this avo - let's hope it works !!!

    How about if you connect your psu to the battery clip ? Just make sure NOT to reverse the polarity .
    Sounds like an issue with the dc socket side of the component board .
