Default Feeler: Gibson Historic R8 VOS Iced Tea

Contemplating on selling my R8 or keeping it. It has a really dark rosewood fingerboard and plays smooth.
However I've got my eye on a GoldTop, can't justify keeping too many guitars.
    May consider at £1850

It's the one on the right. :P

That is a nice guitar you have their man.. I too know the feelings of wanting something else, and in the past I have sold guitars to get something else, I try not to do that now, as I have regretted it on 2 occasions lol, I would rather have that R8 than a gold-top, gold-tops are nice, but I like what you have better, and a gold-top is still going to be similar playing wise to what u already have ?, I would keep it if i were you, I have seen a few of them on ebay for over 2k, so £1850 is a great price

Thanks for the advice Dezzy, I'm still thinking about it. However I was eyeing the R7 GoldTop Slightly Aged (I know it's a subjective matter) you were right, it actually didn't feel that different to the R8.
It's just one of those moments, but GAS is gas man...
