I've got a hard case due to arrive so once its here I'll be happy to post it out if anyone too far away is interested. £450 delivered thats hard case included!
Ok I dont think I've bigged this guitar up enough so heres some more info! Its a Tokai LS 112 SEB premium series made in Japan, SEB stands for sound effect body- heres a link if u dont believe me http://www.theguitarshop.jp/knowledg...ical-spec.html so u cant argue with that- from the pics it looks like they cross cut the body which must increase sustain or something, thats what I've guessed as my Japanese could be better, but I do know that its the most resonant I've played myself and its got tons of sustain. I've never played a gibson myself but this along with Tokai Japan in general is always favourably compared for quality. Dont think they are sold over here must be imported as it has the open book gibson style headstock, I cant find them for sale over here, heres a Japanese site that has a tv yellow one http://www.yatoomusicgear.com/goods.php?id=526
Its got fret binding, the frets must have been crowned and levelled as standard and are great, the neck is really comfortable chunky c shape, the P 90s rock, tried to weigh it and comes up with different readings between 8.5 to 9lbs, so its somewhere in that weight category.
I found this video clip and it looks like an A/B test with a similar model gibson
These guys seem level headed to me!
Dont think I can plug it any more than that! So to summarize this long post £420 for an as good or better than a gibson collection from S London or somewhere nearby, or £450 delivered but with that is included a new hard case as I wouldnt trust posting it in a gig bag.
So buy my guitar! Where is your honour!?
More photos added with pics of hard case- I dont think the last pics really did it justice so I've tried to show what it looks like in daylight, its quite shiny finish, I think its nitro gloss
