Cheers - it's official then - the new £600 ones sound as good as the vintage ones - just need to get over my snobbery and raise some cash.

Why oh why do people post guitar porn at this time of day ... and when I'm saving for another Strat?

The new ones are multi-piece bodies with maple boards and the controls set out differently to the vintage ones (albeit maybe more sensibly).

They are also only £529 at Guitarguitar at the moment although i don't think they come with a case.

I had one of the new ones. Sold it and now want another. If I can sell the Precision bass I've got up for sale this is what I think I'll spend the money on. They don't come with a case but the gig bag is pretty good to be honest.

I can see why you fancy one OP.

They do look the business and I really like the idea of a single P90.

Got a Les Paul Junior myself.

    Cheers,

    Neil,

That LP jr looks the biz. I had a doublecut junior, but the position of the strap button was all wrong for me - I'm hoping the SG junior might be a little better balanced, otherwise I'd be looking at one like yours.

    That sounds great.

My dad used to have an original 1962 Junior (it was an SG shape but it was before they called it that - still a Les Paul). Looked kind of like this one:

It sounded positively pornographic, but neither of us ever got along with it really - the SG shape is just so uncomfortable sitting down. It looks great but the balance is appalling, the neck dive is quite something.

I want to see the same cherry/black, single-P90 principle applied to a Flying V.
My name is Connor and I have a GAS problem.

I also have some videos of myself playing guitar. Here they are.

If I was looking at one new, I'd find a used BJA one...
