    wouldnt work as well. there is a lot of wood behind the bridge on an explorer - not much at all on a V, which is why a V is a suitable choice for this.


    just trimmed the body down and glued the neck in - will get pics when it comes out the clamps in a day or so

    Gah !... Mine is no longer the undisputed poster boy of the Music Radar Custom Steinbergers ! (well it was in my mind if no one elses ) Love that !

    I'm saying go with just the bridge pickup keep it clean, I always liked the look of Chris Spedding's single pickup Vee) Then again I am a bit fixated on single pickup guitars at the mo...

    got the plate cut



    its clear so it can be painted half black/white on the back

    not perfect yet but getting there


    it meant i could transfer control locations and route the control cavity. also added a rout to the side of the lower fin for a strat style jack socket
