    Default AC/DC Cave

So AC/DC has finally agreed to put their entire catalogue on iTunes.

I was hoping there was a cave stalagmites resembling the Australian rockers ... or a stalagtites that vibrated to the wind chiming Giving the Dog a Bone or Let me put my love into you, babe...

    Obviously not the solos, but...

well no, if I want it to exist I've got to go and make it I guess

Not sure what I think of this.

On the one hand it's good to get the music out there and people can decide for themselves which format they prefer, but on the other I do get fed up with iTunes..

I don't really get the whole "oh it's all about albums not individual songs with ACDC"...cos if there ever was a band where you don't really need all of the album tracks.....

I thought someone had rolled away a boulder and Bon Scott had risen from the dead. Oh well.

Presumably now this will also open the way for a Greatest Hits compilation ( that isn't quite the Iron Man 2 soundtrack album) if it's no longer all about the album.

Didn't The Beatles hold out, cos it was all about the albums..? I'm guessing it's all about the money - for all concerned..

The dispute between Apple Corps and Steve Jobs's lot was a major factor IIRC

Mind you, I'd certainly say the Beatles (especially Revolver onwards) are more album-oriented than AC/DC.

How can you say that? Surely "I've got big balls" loses its meaning, outside the context of "Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap"...
