Yodel ? I shouldnt worry, they might not have actually turned up at all - seems to be a stock reply for 'driver is too stupid to find address yet'

UPS, who are normally good. Automatically resheduled for tomorrow, but I might see if I can pick it up from the depot tonight as I think we'll miss the delivery tomorrow as well.

I bought it with some other stuff from Andertons using the finance deal so I can't get it sent to my work address.

Well I've got it. The UPS guys made a return run and dropped it off at a neighbour late yesterday. Unfortunately they were out till about 10 so I've not even switched it on....but...

    BLOODY 'ELL IT'S TINY!

I know that's the point, and I've seen countless pictures and vids of these so it shouldn't be a surprise...but still it's so small.

(any the wife went, arrr that's so cute...not the normal reaction to a GAS purchase).

I'll have a play with my 1x12 cab tonight, then we're gigging on Saturday so I'll give it a blast through my full gig when we're setting up (luckly it's a party gig in a hall so we'll have plenty of time before the guests arrive).

From now on I will now pour scorn and derision on all those people with Crate Powerblocks.

    Wow, wow, wow.

Had a quick play with it through my 2x12 (Vintage 30 and G12H)...and bloody 'ell that's loud.

    This thing's emense.

Certainly good enough for rehearsals and as a gigging back up, and of course it's so small.

    For £99 I'm well chuffed.

    Buy one!

EEEKKK!!! That is exactly what I didn't want to hear

Even my girlfriend is pushing me to buy one, which is unheard of with music gear!

I'll probably be playing it through a Hughes and Kettner 112 loaded with a celestion V30. Have you tried it with any of your pedals yet? Bet it's nice with that Liquid Sunshine!

Only had time for a brief play. I was home late last night (avoiding a few flooded roads) so only had about 20mins to give this a try (and try the Hendrix Anniversary pedals I bought at the same time...see the FX section for those).

I 'should' get a longer try tonight, very much looking forward to seeing how it reacts with some drive pedals up front....then Saturday night I'll get the chance to crank it up with both my 2x12 cabs and the rest of the band when we're setting up for a party gig.

(By the way the Liquid Sunshine sold and it's now with it's new owner)
