Default Worst song ever - Girl On Fire

OK, it's probably not really the worst song ever.

But I just had to vent about how absolutely mindblowingly shit this record is.

"Girl On Fire" by Nicki Minaj and Alicia Keys.

Am I the only one that thinks Alicia Keys can't actually (despite the impression she gives/acclaim she's given) sing? Everything she does has that horrible nasal monotone with forced jaw-quivering vibrato. Or write, mostly.

And yes, Empire State Of Mind Pt 2 is a great song... although I suspect Jay-Z might have a different opinion as to who actually wrote most of it.

It is pretty cack, I have to agree.

I think she has a decent enough set of pipes on her...she just chooses to employ them on decidedly average songs, You Don't Know My Name being an exception, as is that Empire Strikes Back Your Mind Part IV or whatever it was

Element of freedom is imo a superb album. I think sometimes she can sound a bit roar ie shouts some notes though i admit i dont mind as i do think shes Aces

Agreed. But it was written by Angela Hunte, Alicia Keys, Alexander Shuckburgh, Burt Keyes, Jane't "Jnay" Sewell-Ulepic, Shawn "Jay-Z" Carter AND Sylvia Robinson.

I'm no fan of AK. The girl Jay-Z had singing it on tour was far better.
