Seriously, if, as claimed, there are "minimal" overdubs and corrections why has it taken them so long to release it?
There's a great website somewhere that has a detailed "spot the difference" between the 2003 DVD and the unadulterated bootlegs of those shows. I'm sure they'll be something similar cropping up soon for the 02 gig, especially as there's so much audience recorded footage of that one show anyway.

I think they wanted to keep the gig special. These days even the most exclusive of events appears on DVD soon after. They've tried to keep some mystique.

This has often been the way. Jimmy Page sat on all the stuff from the DVD boxset for years before releasing it.

Just watched the DVD and it was painful. Page out of tune and Bonham out of time. No wonder Plant didn't want to tour. The highlight is Kashmir ... I'm glad they've called it a day.

you can hear a ton of vocal over dubbing on Plant...loads of it and it's obvious too.

the most noticeable is during Good times, bad times...watch it again..but study it - you'll hear it.

    3:00

and 3:10 - that one's the worst the dub is still going and Plant stopped singing...as he's throwing the mic around.

Looking at Page near the end - looks like he's proper struggling, like really struggling, his face just looks like he's not enjoying it anymore and he's a sweaty mess...makes me sad.

That's Jason Bonham singing with him.

They even make a point of saying Jason's got a good singing voice for one song.

He's doing better than Plant, stick him on bass I thought it might be but could see him singing along

I think it's bloody excellent, and I'm normally disappointed by Plant live. I think it's really atmospheric and strong.

I haven't seen it, but to those of you that thinks Song Remains The Same is Zep on form you need schoolin' and I ain't foolin'.

Get yourself a copy of BBC Sessions or How The West Was Won.

Best track on the CD/DVD. Classic Zep.

Finally listened to the CDs .. they sound different to the DVD .. Page's guitar sounds more focused .. I wonder if there are overdubs that they couldn't get away with on the DVD or simply a different mix?
