    The song remains is not great. The BBC or How the west was won are pretty good though.

    The DVD us a surround mix, the CD just stereo - so they aren't definitely different mixes. Don't know if that accounts for what you heard.

    You know, I have always had a bit of a problem with Led Zep - I love most of the songs, vocals, atmosphere, feel etc but I absolutely hate Jimmy Page's guitar - screechy, out of time, thin sounding and inconsistent. Led Zep as a whole worked really well but ... jP's playing puts me off.

    This Vid is awful. I hate it.

    I think I should avoid listening to it at all costs and just keep the memories of a great night. I'd imagine had I been more sober at the gig I'd have enjoyed it less. How The West Was Won us probably the best way to judge live Zep.

    I just always thought that LZ had great moments interspersed with awful quarter hours. Some great riffs but too much indeterminate wankery in between
