I enjoyed it because it wasn't OTT, you got all the main parts down nice and it makes a change to hear it played on a guitar other than a strat. The apology for following Jimi's solo made me laugh - I would be the same!

Was the bad monkey going into a clean sound on the amp?

Thanks very much for the kind words! The thought was that I haven't seen many (semi) decent covers of Hendrix songs on a Gibson. That and it's pointless trying to imitate Jimi! And I couldn't be arsed re-stringing one of my Strats!

Yeah, the Bad Monkey was going into the amp clean. The settings on the pedal were at like... 12 O'clock ish.
