    Default Recording King RO-310 Adirondack.

Just wondered if anyone has tried one of these new Recording Kings yet, the Red Spruce/ Adirondack tops look very interesting, and now Thomman seem to to have stopped selling the RO-127 torch series, I was wondering if these might be even more desirable.

I tried 2 of their new models at local GC. Their smaller blues, parlor style acoustic sound much bolder and more expensive sounding than their price. Well made and very well priced, and very loud and expressive for the size.

Haven't played them, but the slim C neck profile would put me off.

I'm currently awaiting Thomann to get their new shipment in, more RO-127's are en route.

Just out of interest aknow11, which guitar shop did you try them in. They are a bit scarce on the south coast.

Just can't beat £360 for a price really!

Saw a RK copy of a 00018 type Martin in a shop in Inverness, looked great from a distance but the finish was awful, has put me off the brand since then.

Was that a recent one? I've only played them in Westside (they're the distributors so I expect them to keep the "good" ones) over the last few months after having moved up here but I can't say I'd noticed any finish flaws yet?
